The Daisy Lady

I have had a life long passion of fabulous textiles and creativity, of which I have experimented for more than 40years. I learnt the most of my skills from my grandmothers, of which one was a skilled Tailoress and also my Mother and other female relatives. We never had idle hands when I was growing up and we were all very industrious and creative with experimenting.

I was able to take a sabbatical from my work back in 2002, from which I enrolled myself onto a HND Textile Design course for 2 yrs, from which I qualified with distinctions. I worked with developing fabrics from recycled plastic bags, which I am quite obsessed at times with recycling, following my motto of waste not want not!
